Dating a bisexual man
Amber Rose is getting candid with fans about her dating preferences.
The 33-year-old model recently confirmed her “amazing” relationship with boyfriend Val Chmerkovskiy.
“But in my personal life, in my sex life, in who I choose to love, I just think that I would think about it too much. I wouldn’t be comfortable with it and I don’t know why.” Amber made sure to clarify that she was not judging anyone who is bisexual and that she is bisexual herself – she’s not not personally comfortable with dating bisexual men.
“Maybe I’m not secure enough to be with a man that likes other men because I would feel like when he’s out with his boys, it’s just more of a moment, I don’t know,” she went on.
He didn’t have to reveal he was bisexual, but he chose to be open and transparent with her.
She felt uncomfortable dating someone who has kissed men or had sex with men.
As with all questions like this, the answer is: some women would, and some women wouldn't.
Like those who flee the tumults of city life for quieter and less complicated pastures, bisexual women may seem destined, in the eyes of gay women, to trade the grit and hardships of queer life for the suburbs of heteroville.Image: Vicky Leta/Mashable “No, I wouldn’t date him cause I can’t picture dating a guy who has sex with men,” my friend says in a text message. She was recently swiping through guys on a dating app and matched with a guy who caught her interest. As a bisexual woman myself, I can’t deny that something about this stereotype that rings true; bi women do seem to romantically engage, or “end up” with men far more often than with woman. But is this really because we prefer a life of white-picket simplicity and comfort?
